Course Description
This course provides a survey of educational research with an emphasis on qualitative methods. Topics include theory, research design, trustworthiness, questioning, qualitative data collection techniques, and data analysis and outcome communications. Writing for publication using the current of American Psychological Association (APA 6th Ed.) requirements will be introduced and practiced. Students are expected to design an action research study, complete a literature review, field test their data collection techniques and present a written synopsis of their results in APA format.
